Nutrient Highlights:
Bone broth: We call it liquid gold because it's packed with collagen protein made of amino acids complimentary to those found in whole grains, legumes and other plants. It's hydrating, supports immune function and some even consider it an anti-aging elixir, we'll let you decide.
Beluga lentils: earned their name because of their caviar-like appearance. This mighty lentil has the highest protein content in the lentil family and lots of free-radical fighting anthocyanins.
Chickpeas: a rich source of plant protein, B6, magnesium and manganese.
Arugula: considered a cruciferous vegetable (like its cousin, kale) and rich in vitamin A and K along with minerals such as iron and calcium.
Quinoa: a super grain loaded with 6g of protein per 1/4 cup and packed with two different types of flavonoids (think anti-inflammatory).
Tomato: a great source of vitamin C (a pre-cursor to collagen production) and beta-carotene which can act as an antioxidant or get converted to Vitamin A.
